He is part of the Non-Performing Asset Liquidation Specialists, aka the Ten Stonehearts (all which are named after a semiprecious or precious stone,) who are kinda a real bunch of controversial people that don't have very awesome reputations in terms of being poster childs for ideal boy and girl scouts. Aventurine himself is particularly controversial for his way of handling things, going pretty heavy-handed into manipulation and prepare business practices and seeking out high risk high reward opportunities. On the surface, he's all smiles, making him incredibly difficult to read as to what he's thinking or feeling, but it's generally accepted that no matter how pointless something Aventurine does or says seems, he only ever makes moves where he's betting on himself coming out on top, with or without the others he drags into in the processes. The best way to sum Aventurine up is that he is the kind of walking disaster that expects everyone else to deal with his problems, especially when they're of his own making. The worst kind of "sharing is caring" implementation. Aventurine is the last of a race known for their beauty and their charisma which basically had them labeled as honeypots by every other race and they became subject to hate and prejudice until they were all killed off by a neighboring race. Aventurine is basically our to prove every stereotype about his people in spades in terms of looks, charisma, seduction, manipulation, and everything else, too. He's not above using his body or anything else to get what he wants, so don't be surprised if he pulls the moves on your character to get his way... or some of their things he wants.
