[That's a lot of complicated-sounding stuff Aventurine just said, but if they're gonna have to talk in person, then Toki probably shouldn't say a lot here, even if he's got a bad feeling and a million questions he might not even be able to pose in a way that makes sense.
[ hard not to feel his apprehension through the Murmur, and Toki is a tricky honest soul. So Aventurine wants to reassure him without giving too much hint. ]
I can promise you, at least, that nothing here is going to have me try and encourage you to give up on being friends with and protecting One.
I just don't want him privy to our discussion because, regardless of the type of person he is, he's currently ruled by a deep-seated fear. If he so badly wants to hear what's discussed about him, then he's welcome to show his face at the meeting to be a part of it. That's plenty fair exchange, especially after what he's already done to us.
[He hadn't thought he'd have to be so worried about the guy's safety beyond what he seemed to be doing to himself and whatever Sleep was doing, but after that whole Murmur ordeal... well, it's good to know when he doesn't have to worry so much.]
Think he'll show up?
[He doubts it himself, based on how elusive he is, but you never know.]
Jinx is Jinx, you know? She tried to show me the conversation with Sleep she had and there was nothing about killing One. So, I don't even know if he would actively care to listen to us if he listened to Jinx. But, down the line, he might have reason to suddenly be curious, so it's better we don't leave any useful recordings to be dug up later without our knowledge. If at that time he wants to know bad enough, we have a chance of him communicating with us directly.
That could be completely useless and do nothing. It could also be our one saving grace opportunity in a time of peril we don't yet know of. I need to make sure to prepare for all options best I can.
[It's all so, so complicated. Could Jinx be lying about stuff? Probably. Could she be telling the truth and not everything actually sticks around? Also probably. Either way, it doesn't seem like One's going to be completely safe if even one person gets the idea that they should go kill him or something, and Toki really, really wants to help.
That's what friends do.]
We can... figure out all the stuff there. And then we can figure out if there's stuff we gotta say here. Right?
Okay. Cool. I'll think of... important stuff that we gotta talk about!
[He should probably tell them what One told him when he checked on him, for one. Might be useful, but probably not to have in multiple places on the Murmur. Just in case.]

That can all happen later.]
Okay. I'll go.

Does that help?
